Phase 2 of the Residential Building Inspection Program on the Island of

(CNW) The Direction de l’évaluation foncière (DÉFVM) wishes to inform all residential property owners that it will be carrying out Phase 2 of the program to inspect the exterior of all residential buildings (singlefamily, duplex and triplex houses) on the Island of Montréal from April 1 to June 30, 2009.
During this program, Island of Montréal residents will see technicians or appraisers of the Direction de l’évaluation foncière inspect or photograph their property. Inspections will take place Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Personnel will be carrying Ville de Montréal ID cards.
Inspections, which will involve mainly the exterior of buildings, will help to update the information used to assess residential buildings in Montréal. The inspection program meets the requirements of the Act respecting municipal taxation.
