Greeks celebrate Independence Day

A SHOW OF HELLENIC PRIDE: Despite continuous rain Thousands were on hand to celebrate Greek Independence Day last Sunday March 29th in Montreal. Once more, Jean-Talon Street in Park Extension was host to the parade commemorating the historic occasion. All levels of government were fully represented in this year festivities even though none of them have an election to handle.

and Vicky Nikolakakis representing the Hellenic Congress of Quebec.
