Pursuant to his announcement made on the 22nd
of August 2008 on the creation of new subsidized
childcare places, the Parliamentary Assistant to the
Minister of Health and Social Services and M.N.A. for
Laurier-Dorion, Mr. Gerry Sklavounos, was present
today for the beginning of construction of the Centre
éducatif Grandir Ensemble daycare in Park-Extension.
“This new daycare will serve the growing needs of our
area with 80 additional childcare places. It thus gives
me great pleasure to participate, today, in the beginning
of construction of the Centre éducatif Grandir
Ensemble daycare”, declared Mr. Sklavounos.
Mr. Sklavounos was accompanied by owners Angie
Kalogrias, Chris Didaskalou and Biba Neskovic, as
well as parents Nick and Nancy Nicolopoulos with
their son Tommy who is registered at the daycare.
