Montreal to set up mobile clinics for COVID-19 testing

The health and social services for West-Central Montreal opening new COVID-19 walk-in testing clinics.

However, one of the goals is to test young people ages 15 to 29 who have visited bars since July 1.

Testing is free for everyone and there is no need to book an appointment. People can directly arrive at the testing location.

Crucially, health and social services will set up a clinic in Park Extension next week. Starting Monday, July 20, the clinic will be open at CLSC Parc-Extension at 7085 Hutchison Street (access to the clinic via Parc Avenue).

The testing clinic in Park Extension will be open for testing everyday of the week, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Starting Thursday, July 16, a clinic will be set up at the Outremont borough office, at 544 Davaar Avenue. This clinic will be open for testing everyday of the week, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Last, another clinic will also be set up in Côte-des-Neiges, starting Wednesday, July 22. The clinic will be at the Jewish General Hospital, on 5800 Côte-des-Neiges Road. This clinic will stay open everyday day of the week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m
